The new trailer for Doctor Who: Flux is here! Season 13 will be released under a new title and promises more villains for the finale with Jodie Whittaker.
A first trailer for Doctor Who: Flux has been unveiled. Season 13 promises new villains and exciting twists. In line with Halloween, the upcoming season will be released on October 31, 2021, the US broadcaster BBC reveals. It is still unclear when the new episodes will come to Germany and which streaming service will show the episodes.

"Game of Thrones" star Jacob Anderson is in the party
Season 13, which was presented under the new title "The Flux is coming...", will also be the last for Jodie Whittaker in the iconic role of the Doctor. Three special programs in 2022 will thus be her last appearances as the first female doctor. Showrunner Chris Chibnall is also leaving the series and will be replaced by returning showrunner Russell T. Davies. Each of this season's eight episodes will be linked together as part of a larger story.

In the new season, the Doctor and Yaz (Mandip Gill) meet two new companions. One of them is 'Game of Thrones' actor Jacob Anderson, who will play new future ally Vinder.

Season 13 will premiere in the UK on the BBC. Normally, FOX takes over the first broadcast in Germany, but the station's operations have been discontinued since September 30, 2021. You can find seasons 1 to 12 of the sci-fi drama on the Joyn PLUS+ streaming service. At least at the start at the end of October you will not find Season 13 on Joyn.
