"That actually makes things a lot worse": Bushido cries in a TV interview – Fler uses emotional scenes to set an example

Bushido is currently a permanent guest on German television. But not because his new album "King Sonny Black II" is finally being released after several postponements, but rather because the trial against his former business partner Arafat Abou-Chaker and three of his brothers is still ongoing. The rapper appears in the proceedings as a witness and joint plaintiff and now feels able to tell his Abou-Chaker past outside of the courtroom.

According to Bushido, this is only possible because he and his family are under police protection. The reason for this is the danger that Arafat could plan and ultimately carry out an attack on the Ferchichis. Even after months, the Berlin police still see a considerable need for protection for Bushido, Anna-Maria and their eight children.

The fact that his family can't just go out spontaneously, go shopping or meet up with friends is a heavy burden for Bushido. The fact that he is not allowed to drive his own children to school also erodes his self-esteem. Not only did he cry when he testified at the Berlin district court when describing his family, but he could not hide his emotions in a report about him on "Stern TV". However, his enemies are not afraid to use his crying against him.

Bushido bursts into tears because of his family

"It was like a forced marriage and I played along perfectly for many years," Bushido first recapitulated his time with Abou-Chaker. Of course he also benefited from the business partnership, but he always had to pay Arafat 50 percent of his income.

The infamous interview with Kay One on "Stern TV" from 2013 was also picked up again in the report. Kay One already renounced Arafat at the time and publicly announced that Bushido was a slave who had to do whatever was asked of him. At that time, Bushido had denied that in a diss track. Now he admitted: "I had to keep the Bushido image. How can I agree with someone in a situation like this and say: 'You're right, I'm also a slave to that guy.' The guy is right behind me and he gets 50 percent of the money I make."

Ultimately, it was also about the threat from Arafat: "Do you trust him to do something to your wife and children?" Bushido was asked, which he answered in the affirmative. "So you would also trust him to kill you?" the reporter asked again, which he answered with a "yes" and finally added: "I have personal security for a reason."

The 43-year-old was next asked whether he was ashamed that his family had to live under police protection because of his actions. However, he did not succeed without tears in his eyes:

"Phew... at least I know with my family, especially my wife and my children, they don't blame me. And that actually makes things a lot worse for you. Because you don't have to argue with your wife, because every day she throws at you what you've been up to. And your children who say to you every day: 'Dad, only because of you, you're a bad father' and such. But that they still look at themselves every morning be happy."

Fler coldly exploits the emotions of his adversary

Fler, who has been arguing publicly with Bushido in announcements and tracks for several years, of course gratefully accepted this pass to make fun of him. The starting point for the diss was the song "Renegade" by Bushido and Animus, which was released in November 2019. It contained a reference to Fler, the rapper is also known by the stage name "Frank White". Instead, the rapper made “Frank Weint” out of it – a line that was not particularly well received by Bushido supporters at the time because it was not considered particularly creative. The relevant passage reads:

"Known nationally as a mogul in this rap business.Fler known for having a carrot stuck in his rectum. If I want to, I'll embarrass you with an end rhyme: Not Frank White, but Frank is crying, yeah."

A little more than two years later, the time had come for Fler to take revenge on Bushido for the insult. He reposted a picture from the "Stern TV" interview with the crying Bushido and underlined it with "Renegade" and the line in question.

By sharing the story to which he was previously linked, Fler at least also shows that he also has the pun contained in it shouldn't find it unfunny: Instead of "Sonny Black", the name under which Bushido also makes music, it says "Sonny whines".

It remains to be seen whether Bushido's next move will take another two years. The release of his record should be keeping him busy at the moment, after all he himself sends the associated fan boxes to his supporters.
