Street style trends from Copenhagen: These 5 Scandi-it-pieces embellish every (spring) look

From Copenhagen to Paris: The Fashion Weeks are and will remain one of our favorite sources of inspiration for the latest fashion trends - and not only with regard to the new collections, but also, and above all, with a view of the streets of the fashion capitals. One of our favorite fashion weeks in terms of street style inspo: definitely Copenhagen Fashion Week, which ran from February 1st to 4th, 2022 for the Fall Winter 2022/23 season. Because the style of the Scandinavian women is one of the most desirable of our time - not least because it is one of the most wearable. So we took a look around for you and present: The 5 most popular it-pieces of the Scandi girls that we will ALL wear in 2022.

These are the top 5 street style trends from Copenhagen Fashion Week

1. Scandi street style trend from Copenhagen: statement bags in green

How do you manage to give even the simplest outfit an immediate upgrade? With a brightly colored bag! In green, if the Scandi girls have their way, because we have seen more and more statement bags in this color on the streets of Copenhagen. And while the show visitors mainly opted for the Bottega Veneta label's it bags in its iconic bright green colour, above all the "Jodie Mini" bag, you are guaranteed to achieve the same effect with more affordable models.

2. Scandi street style trend from Copenhagen: cargo pants

Granted, they'll probably always have Destiny's Child vibes ("I'm a survivor..."), but whatever: cargo pants are making a comeback in the wake of the Y2k hype in 2022! Now we wear them in an extra loose fit, khaki or beige and tuck them into our combat boots on cold days. In spring, they also go well with chic high sandals, which creates an exciting break in style.

3. Scandi street style trend from Copenhagen: retro prints

We already predicted it in this article and the Scandi street style girls are now showing it (maybe they just read GLAMOR...): retro prints will be everywhere in 2022. Whether Pril flowers or with a psychedelic touch, everything that screams 70s or 80s is now allowed - and really flashes. If you like loud fashion, you can wear the prints in a mix or combine them with bright colors. Fans of somewhat reduced looks style them with beige, white or black pieces as well as those with clean cuts.

4. Scandi street style trend from Copenhagen: college jackets

Already at the last Copenhagen Fashion Week we saw a number of looks with college jackets on the streets, thanks to the preppy-chic revival, and this time too numerous Scandi-Cool-Girls from Emili Sindlev to Janka Polliani wore the casual jackets. Styling tip: Of course, they go well with jeans and sneakers as a no-brainer, but they also look extra cool as a break in style with an airy dress or pleated skirt. And by the way, they are also ideal for cold spring nights!

5. Scandi street style trend from Copenhagen: baggy jeans

They are one of the jeans trends for 2022 and they were also omnipresent at the Copenhagen Fashion Week: baggy jeans – i.e. denim trousers with wide legs and a loose crotch. In order not to create a baggy silhouette, they are combined with tight shirts and coats that are not too long in winter. On warmer days, crop tops are the ideal companions for wide jeans.
